Gyanganj Situated in the Himalayas, this is a small place which is also known as Shangri-La, Shambhala and Siddha Ashram. In Gyanganj Math, only perfected Mahatmas get a place. It is said about this place that the fate of everyone living here is already decided and everyone living here is immortal,No one dies here.

Dalai Lama explained about Gyanganj in his words that it is not a physical place that people can find. It is not heaven but a pure land in the human realm. The only way to visit this land is through a karmic connection. Inhabited by the immortal beings of the Himalayas, the city, and its occupants subtly guide the destiny of the world through prayer and meditation. Protecting the spiritual teachings of the world, of all faiths and beliefs, they work for the good of mankind.

In modern times, Gyanganj is located in Tibet near Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar. According to religious belief, there is an ashram at this place which has been built by Vishwakarma ji. Even today at this place, Buddha and many immortal yogi is present in the form of a body, Swami Vishuddhanand Paramahansa had first informed the people about this place.
Hindu scriptures like ‘Mahabharata’ and ‘Valmiki Ramayana’ hold references to Gyanganj, and also Lost Horizon, about the lost kingdom of Shangri-La’, the novel of a decorated author James Hilton, is based on the concept of Gyanganj.

भगवान शिव के शिवलिंग की पूजा उनके ज्ञान, तप, ध्यान, तथा साधना को अभिव्यक्त करती है। इसके अलावा, शिवलिंग का आकार सरल तथा सुलभ होता है, जिससे भक्त आसानी से पूजा कर सकते हैं।
