Note : Nothing created in-house should be published outside here, without the BRAND ids.File Type: png0 Comments 0 Shares 690 Views 0 Reviews1 - मेरठ का डंका प्राचीन इतिहास से लेकर आधुनिक समय तक बजता आ रहा है और यही कारण है कि यहां के लोग बजाते भी बहुत हैं किसकी ........ ये तो जो दो - चार होगा यहां के लोगों से तब ही अच्छे से समझ पाएगा , मेरठ ... जैसा कि नाम से पता चलता है ..... मैं रट.... यानि कि यहां के लोग अपने रुतबे के लिए बड़े जाने जाते हैं .... तो ये तो था मेरठ के नामकरण का , लोगों के स्वभाव के आधार पर विश्लेषण ..... अब बात करते हैं इसके हिस्टोरिकल कनेक्शन की तो इसका वास्तविक नाम था मय राष्ट्र अर्थात् इस शहर को मय दानव ने बसाया और राज किया , रावण की ससुराल है ये यानि कि मंदोदरी का मायका ... हिस्टोरिकल कनेक्शन मय दानव से ही नहीं महाभारत से भी है ,हस्तिनापुर इसी का हिस्सा था और है भी , हालांकि अब वहां बस खंडहर और अवशेष ही बचे हैं लेकिन महाभारत की गौरवगाथा की चमक और महत्व कभी कम नहीं होगा !!!!! गंगा यमुना के दोआब पर बसा शहर जिसने इतिहास के अनेक रंग और मंज़र देखे हैं , जो गुज़रा है अतीत के उन गलियारों से जो संस्कृति और धर्म की आभा से भरे थे तो षड्यंत्रों की कालिमा से धुंधले भी हुए और युद्ध और अन्याय से रक्तरंजित भी हुए ....।
