World Safety and Health Day is observed to promote the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases globally. An interesting fact about this day is that it is an international campaign to promote safe, healthy, and decent work and has been held on April 28th every year since 2003, being aligned with the International Labour Organization's centenary year.
